Anderson v1 pg319-320 - letter #305

                                                         P.P.

I am not at all pleased that you are really sending the concerto to the Industriekomtor and to who knows what other places, before you have received the corrections. Why on earth do you refuse to publish any work without mistakes? The corrected proofs of the concerto [Opus 73] Were in fact sent off from here yesterday. Now, when the Industriekomtor receives the concerto, I shall have to --------------- the mistakes. [Anderson footnote: “This sentence beginning with the words ‘Now, when’ is added at the foot of the page.  A portion of the autograph has been torn off, which accounts for the missing words.”]   The corrected proofs of the fantasia [Opus 80] Also will be sent off on Saturday [May 4th] together with my score.   But I should like to have the latter back immediately ––

NB.  There are quite enough mistakes in the c[oncerto].
